Of all the wondrous things we can photograph in this world, I find the photography of people to be the most fascinating.  Part of it is because I love people!  But there is also something unique about portraiture. Humans are the greatest and most wondrous creation on this earth! 

Unlike photographs of inanimate objects, photographs of people can evoke strong emotions and can draw out a smile or a tear, arouse passion or romance, and stir up within us an endless list of other emotions.  

Each person is beautiful in their own way.   My desire in photographing anyone is to capture a visual expression of a person's beauty, not just limiting the image to their physical beauty, but seeking to "see" something deeper.  

I also strive to ensure the photographs I create portray you at your best.  If retouching is necessary (and at least a little bit is almost always necessary with anyone) I try to do so in a way that makes you look your best without making you look overly "airbrushed" (unless you want that effect).

Headshots are meant to communicate who you are.  If you are an actor or a model, a headshot is an essential marketing tool to communicate your distinctive qualities, including your look and your personality.  Your headshot should show you as you really are, looking your best of course!

I offer my photography in my studio or on "location shoots", outdoors, at settings of your choice or I can suggest several.  The possibilities are endless!

What an exciting time in our lives when we are about to embark on that journey into adulthood, as we leave home to pursue college or a career!  Celebrate that special time with quality photographs, to commemorate this time, and to share with family and friends!
