Comments:
"If you're new to photography, like me, books will only
get you so far. Kevin's class answered all the questions the
books did not. His knowledge of photography is vast and his
guidance was invaluable. The passion he has for photography
is evident throughout the session and highly addictive.
Kevin, thank you for turning a novice into a photographer." -
Robert R
"Kevin's
classes are where Right Brain meets Left Brain … and they
play nicely together!"
"Thank you so
much for putting on this workshop. This is EXACTLY what I've
been needing!!!"
More Testimonials |
"To create better photographs, it's tempting to think
you have to buy a better camera.
The REAL key is to become a better photographer."
This is a weekend version of our popular sold-out Photography 101
classes that we've held on Tuesdays/Thursdays, but with some changes
in the content and format to make them even better!
A
Great Class for Beginners
If you are new to photography, this is a great class to help you
understand the basics, giving you a jump start on creating great
photographs.
A Great Class for Intermediate Photographers
Even if you have been taking photos for quite a while,
understanding the fundamentals will help you create the best
photographs possible. This class will provide a foundation on which
you can build your own creative style and images.

Beginner
or intermediate,
this
fun and informative workshop is for you!
It is so important to learn the "basics", to understand how
cameras, lenses, light, composition, interact together in the
process of creating great images. Once you understand the "rules",
we will explore when "breaking the rules" can be creatively used to
produce beautiful and engaging images.
The ultimate
objective in this class is to empower you with the
tools and
techniques to create great photos.
Your Camera:
If you own a Digital SLR (DSLR) this is a great class to learn how
to move beyond shooting in "automatic" mode. If you have a "point
and shoot" camera, many of the topics covered will help you improve
your photography!
What we'll cover:
- The fundamentals of photography
- The Digital Revolution
- The Camera
- The Shutter
- The Aperture
- ISO settings
