This turned out to be such a busy day!
Family arrives, more family arrives, even more family arrives.
Mom is no doubt loved by many.

Amidst the smiles, a gift is given.
The gift is not something that was bought or wrapped.
It is the simplest and most precious of all gifts…
It is the gift of the presence of loved-ones.
To see their faces, to hear their voices, to feel their hugs.

It is a gift given, and a gift received.
It said, “You matter. You are loved.”
So many people yearn for such a gift.
It is probably the greatest gift that we can give.

This day will be remembered by all who were here.
It was a busy day.
